President’s Letter- January 2025

Happy New Year.

As we welcome 2025, I have been reflecting on the incredible support and generosity of our communities. Your contributions and commitment to making a difference has made a significant impact on the lives of Soldiers’ patients and their families.

In 2024, your support led to some incredible accomplishments, including enhancements to patient care, updates to equipment (some more than 25 years old), and a significant investment into our future with a $3.3 million gift toward a future hospital. Your support has shown that there are infinite possibilities when it comes to taking care of each other, today and in the future.

This year marks the 40th anniversary of the OSMH Foundation, a testament to our communities steadfast commitment to healthcare excellence. As we step into 2025, we see opportunities for the start of something new. We look forward to introducing new programs and fundraising opportunities led by our purpose, to inspire and engage our communities to make a lasting impact at Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital. We are excited to share the continued impact of your donations throughout the coming year.
