Raquel Ness
CHAIR

Raquel Ness, Chair
Raquel Ness is the founding lawyer at Ness Law and also the Co-Director of the Ripple of Kindness Orillia Chapter. Raquel takes great pride in servicing Simcoe County residents with legal practices and a wealth of knowledge surrounding real estate, wills & estate, and corporate law.
Committed to giving back to the town she grew up in, Raquel cherishes a list of community commitments including her involvement as Chair of the Child Advocacy Centre, a Director of the Orillia Chamber of Commerce, President of the Law Association of Orillia, past treasurer of BNI Lake Country and lobbyist for young residents and like-minded women to grow their own successes in Simcoe County.
Raquel's connection to Orillia Soldiers' Memorial Hospital started at a young age when she was diagnosed with a bone-eating infection in her left hip. Through the care she received at Soldiers', Raquel was able to access the treatment she needed to save her life.
Raquel is a proud resident of Orillia who enjoys yoga, travelling, and spending time with her husband and new baby.
Scott Walker

Scott Walker, Vice Chair
Scott Walker is an Investment Advisor & Financial Planner with O'Coin Walker & Associates, BMO Nesbitt Burns. After beginning his career in Toronto working for a large global asset management firm, Scott and his wife Katie moved back to the area in 2018 when Scott joined the Karen O’Coin Investment Advisory Group.
Scott is grateful to be able to give back to the community where he grew up and is currently on the board of directors with the Orillia District Chamber of Commerce and the Orillia Soldiers' Memorial Hospital Foundation.
Scott has many relatives who have worked at OSMH and is thrilled at the opportunity to be involved with the foundation and supporting healthcare excellence for OSMH.

Ken Brownlee

Ken Brownlee, OSMH Board Representative
Ken Brownlee is a CMA/CPA by profession and prior to retiring, he held President and CEO roles predominately in privately held manufacturing and distribution organizations.
Ken has served as a Governor on the Board of Georgian College where he was the Chair of the Finance and Audit Committee, a member of an Executive Committee of the Board and led a “Building a Better Board” initiative. He is proud to be a Director on the OSMH Board and the hospital representative on the OSMH Foundation Board.
As an Orillia resident for over 30 years, Ken and his wife Liz raised their two daughters in Orillia. They enjoy playing tennis and golf, travelling and most importantly, spending time with their children and grandchildren.

Cathy Clark

Cathy Clark, Director
Recently retired from a long career focused on protecting the public interest, Cathy Clark is proud to be a member of the Board of Directors for the OSMH Foundation, supporting the hospital that has provided exceptional emergency and surgical care to her family for many years.
Cathy began her career as a federal parole officer and has held senior management positions in several provincial government Ministries, the County of Simcoe, and, most recently, a large regional hospital. Cathy is also a Community Chaplain, providing pastoral leadership in several churches in Simcoe County and pastoral care in several long-term care homes and hospitals across the region.
Formerly a member of the Community Advisory Board for the Central North Correctional Centre, Cathy is currently a member of the Board of Directors for Spencer House Long-Term Care Home, the Board of Directors for The Cellar Singers professionally-led choir, and the OPP Couchiching Police Services Board.
In addition to her volunteer work in the community, Cathy sings in the Cellar Singers, plays alto sax in the Orillia Concert Band, and she and her husband enjoy a great deal of national and international travel.
Tracey Keighley-Clarke

Tracey Keighley-Clarke, Director
Tracey is a passionate healthcare and not-for-profit leader with over 36 years of experience in the GTA, Simcoe Muskoka, and Southwestern Ontario. Committed to giving back to her community, Tracey takes great pride in her role in the development and evolution of the Simcoe Muskoka Regional Cancer Cancer Centre, which brought lifesaving regional cancer services to the residents of Simcoe Muskoka.
As a passionate volunteer, Tracey has supported several charities focussed on peadiatric cancer services including Campfire Circle (formerly Camp Oochigeas) and Coast to Coast Against Cancer Foundation. As a past Board Member for Ontario Parents Advocating for Children’s Cancer (OPACC) and Ronald McDonald House Charities Canada (RMHCC), she takes pride in helping ensure families are supported through difficult healthcare journeys.
Tracey’s excited to support Orillia Soldiers' Memorial Hospital and the community to plan and raise funds for a new hospital. A resident of the broader Simcoe Muskoka community, Tracey enjoys reading, travelling, and spending time with her husband, her two golden retrievers, and her two beautiful daughters.
Catherine Pearson

Catherine Pearson, Director
Catherine is a seasoned executive and entrepreneur with over 30 years of experience in strategic marketing, data analytics, client management, and operations. She is the owner and CEO of Quayle's Brewery, a premier craft brewery and destination launched in 2020 in Oro-Medonte. Previously, she served as a founding member and Senior Vice President at Environics Analytics, where she provided strategic consultation with proven results to Fortune 500 firms. Catherine is passionate about brand building and corporate strategy, leveraging data analytics to enhance customer experiences, grow market share, and deepen customer relationships.
Catherine is deeply committed to her community, serving on the Oro-Medonte Economic Development Committee and the Orillia and Lake Country Tourism Board, supporting local partnerships and businesses.
Her commitment to Orillia Soldiers' Memorial Hospital stems from her personal experience as a caregiver after losing her husband at a young age, and her passion for advocating early health prevention. As a business leader, she frequently organizes events to support the community and Orillia Soldiers' Memorial Hospital.
A proud resident of Oro-Medonte, Catherine loves travel and craft beer, enjoys spending time with her three teenagers and Labrador retrievers, and is actively involved in her community.
Brent Poulsen
STRATEGIC SALES EXECUTIVE
Brent Poulson, Director
Brent Poulsen, originally from Orillia, Ontario, brings extensive international business experience back to his hometown after 17 years in Texas and Michigan. He served as CEO of Spieth America within the ABEO Group, collaborating with prestigious organizations like the NCAA, International Olympic Committee, and USA Gymnastics. Brent's career highlights include a five-year tenure as President of the USA Gymnastics Association and securing a landmark sponsorship deal with Simone Biles.
With a background as a professional triathlete, Brent now supports his sons, Callum and Keaton, in their sports pursuits alongside his wife Carley. Actively involved in Orillia's community, he has now started to volunteer with the Orillia Soldiers Memorial Foundation and Orillia Minor Hockey. Brent's dedication to Orillia Soldiers' Memorial Hospital, where he has personal ties, drives his support for local healthcare initiatives. He enjoys running on Simcoe County's trails and is committed to giving back to his cherished hometown.
