Sheridan Seating Owners Make Generous Donation in Honour of their Parents

The Sheridan Family Makes a Donation to OSMH

Paul and Patrick Sheridan, the owners of Sheridan Seating in Orillia, have made a $10,000 donation to Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital Foundation. The donation was made in honour of their late parents, Dick and Phyllis.

“Our parents were very active members in the Orillia community, as both business leaders and volunteers,” said Paul Sheridan. “This donation to our Hospital is a wonderful tribute to my parents’ legacy.”

The generous gift to the Hospital will go towards equipment for a patient room in the Hospital’s newly established inpatient unit on the second floor. The patients occupying these beds are preparing to move on to other care environments, like long term care homes, retirement homes or their own homes (with adequate assistance).

“Paul and Patrick’s gift means that more patients in our Hospital will now have access to the best equipment possible to help them heal and transition to their next appropriate care setting,” said Mark Riczu, Executive Director, OSMH Foundation. “We can’t thank them enough for their generosity, and for honouring their parents in this special way.”

Sheridan Seating, which celebrated 40 years of business last year, has products including bleachers, platforms and retractable stages in more than 40 countries across the world.
